As promised, the second page update. :D I'll color this page within this week.

Just recently, I received a comment that says if I don't like BL, why am I forcing myself to do it?

I find that the comment was pretty interesting and I might as well answer here. The reason is not because I don't like BL, but rather I'm not really into BL. There is a difference between not liking it and not into it, or to put it simply, I don't get excited looking at two guys making out. I actually do read BL provided if the storyline amuses me, but when it comes to reading scenes of two guys doing "it", the chemistry just doesn't seem to get me.

Instead of getting excited like some BL fans, the feeling of reading these scenes just sometimes feel awkward but they do make me blushed when I look at it. So, whenever I read a BL comic, I usually focus more on the content of the storyline rather than looking at horny images.

I guess that's just my preference. So, I hope everyone understands what I meant. >.< As for forcing myself to draw a BL... actually, I don't consider it as forcing myself to do something that I don't like. I tend to consider it as a challenge instead. Sometimes, I do love to challenge myself when it comes to doing comics like this one.

ooo 2 pages :D. I have to say I did like how you used the digital lettering when you did the sound effects of typing. Oooo at Louis really getting carried away spying on the laptop, but I have to agree with you that if you are going to be away from your laptop/computer always make sure things are password protected.

I'm with you, Sensei on the BL/GL issue. I do like them but only if the storyline interests me..<g>
Anyway he sure is slick- I doubt if I could come up with something that fast!!!

@ author comment: I like BL, as you've stated, for the storyliness (most of the time). "The test of true love" and all that jazz.

But you are much more patient and talented then I am to be able to do a comic like this just for the challenge of it. You have such major skills ( in case you didn't hear me the the first ten times I said that x] ).

[ AH. And I said I would think of more questions, and I did! A whole truckfull, and these ones really have my intrest, so please take your time to consider them if you can.

Um. But. . .
Here they are:

How, exactly, do you make your comics? What pens do you use, where did you get them, and what photoshop or other supplies do you use? Do you outline your drawings in pencil, first, before you ink them? Do you make panel and structure outlines for each page, or do you make it up as you go? How far do you plan your stories in advance, and have you thought this one out all the way?

Also, what inspired you to draw first? And what inspired you to draw THIS comic? And how do you get into the mind of Louis if you're not into BL/Gay relationships? ]

I feel your embarrassment when I see two guys going at it too...that's why when I'm reading stuff in the BL field, I usually read the ones with a plot and some light interaction (kissing, hugging etc).

I'm kinda the same way. I prefer BL comic that have a good storyline and is a little cutesy, but now I guess I'm more used to the sexual imagery, and it doesn't bother me as much. I mean I wouldn't stop reading a good comic just because it has sexual imagery, but I really do get your point.

I guess you can just say that you are creating the BL story that you would like to read. :) For me, one of the main things that attracted me to the BL genre, was that 'forbidden romance' aspect of it. It's also one of the reasons why I'm so into this story. :D

I love this comic I lost it before but I have definately fave it now ^^

I'm addicted to bl because of the asspect of forbidden love too, now in society some people are more accepting than others years ago. Some BL comics have no storyline and that bothers me sees millions of fans for bad art and no story line just because its Bl [no offend to fellow Bl fans] I love BLs with interesting storylines and art. Like a reason why I love this one and Tteok's comics too.

A side note there was BL is the anime Cardcaptors but in the english version was taken out because peole were really against that sort of thing.

These are fascinating questions indeed. I will answer all of them on the final page of this chapter. So, be sure to keep an eye on the last chapter.

E.Redemption: Ooh, you have the same BL level as me. Yesh indeeeeeeed. I've seen a few really hard core BL that send shivers down my spine. Could read through the entire archive sometimes. o.o

Sabriel19: Yeah, some BL images were a bit disturbing. Especially those that involve main characters getting raped over and over again. o.o I do read some BL that may be on the sexual imagery. But if the sexual imagery carries too long, like an entire chapter, then I may have to skip some of the pages. ^^;

Tteok: That's interesting. I didn't know people do like BL because of the forbidden aspect. I usually thought people like BL because of "double dose" of romancing men.

Kochi-chan: Thanks for the fav and thanks for loving it~ *heart* I think most authors who started doing BL comic are still learning. I'm sure as they mature, their BL comic will slowly have a storyline and they will also improve in their drawing skills if they are hardworking. ^^ I guess BL with no storyline isn't so bad. But BL with bad storyline is probably worse. XD

I know my comment on this is kinda late, but oh well. xD

Your description for BL is exactly with me and GL. I support all homosexuality, it's just some images I would prefer not to see. xD

And even with BL, there's some things I really have to close my eyes with.
I strongly agree with having a nice plot for me to read something.

(Possible "what if" scenario)
But then you might look at my favourites and say "Then how come you read so many comics..? Most comics on SJ don't have good plots."
As a matter of fact, a good number of my favourites contain straight material and are not all BL at all.
I also have a lot of friends online, so I read their comics, and most of my friends online write BL comics. I read them to help support my friends.

Haha, just putting my opinion on here. xD I hope you don't put me down or think differently because I'm one of those really popular BL artists...

After a long time of no reading I finally got back to reading. I just had to comment on this page because you opinion and the way you think of BL is very close to my own opinion. I have no problem with homosexuality and I will read stories with it if the storyline is good.
