It's funny how you didn't know almost anything about BL... very hard situation for me to imagine, since I read both BL and GL since I was ~11 years old, lol. Anyway, you're doing a good job with this comic. I don't read much BL anymore because they are often TOO stereotype and no storyline, but your comic is different. :) Good luck with the continuing!

I like "Free Talk" ^o^
Haha yeah, I've never seen someone with those French stereotypes XD (btw I'm French). You actually did a really good job about BL even though you had no interest in BL, your comic is probably the one I most love here :)

Publishing NLL... I would buy it no matter what !

Love the whole background to the story. Was very interesting to find out how one of my fav online comics came about.

lol. Yes, as a gay guy I'm actually a minority audience in reading BL comics. Which I suppose may seem a little odd, but probably makes sense. In a lot of BL one of the characters (usually the 'uke') is essentially a girl without boobs. And seeing as gay guys like, well, men, a lot of us don't find this particularly attractive / appealing.

It's always nice to read a comic where the guys act like... Guys.

Linden: Glad you like it, hon. :3

Secret Admirer: Yep, I actually know nothing at all about BL. :D But ever since I started this comic, it's essential for me to do a bit of study on the BL topic just to understand what it's all about. As I haven't actually gotten into much on BL, so I can't really judge if most of them are too stereotype of lack of storyline.

Mizuiro: Haha. Yup. Those Frech stereotypes were mostly American movie influences. X3 I'm such a fool to think that French is what is shown in the American movies. XD And... sweet! I would be forever grateful if you do buy my book!

unknown3rd: :O Whoa. I'm one of your fav comic? I'm honored! P.S. I love your comic too, btw.

SirDerangedReindeer: Ooh. I know what you mean about the "uke". I find it really odd too why some BL fans dig the-innocent-boy-that-looks-like-a-girl and pair up with a mature-looking-guy-who-looks-10-years-older-that-the-boy. :o I guess some fans have unusual taste with BL comic.

>w< I liked knowing about the history of this comic, I was really interested!

If it makes you feel any better, I was also very not into the whole BL scene. >_< I wasn't even really pro-choice really :| before, truth be told, I kinda viewed gays as creepy guys who liked to dress up in pink and shop but as I grew older I inda tried to bias myself less.

Surprise, surprise when I got into highschool, I was a new student and didn't really know any people and so I just hung out with the crowd who liked what I liked: anime. They were totally into the bl scene and I wasn't...but slowly I kinda accepted it and grew real sympathetic for the gay community.

I mean, I wasn't like an aggressive hater of 'em, but I felt so awkward thinking about it, like they were totally alien!

Thats why I started my comic, where the issue that gays are real black sheep in the world(Kuroi Hitsuji, yay!) and why I was interested in yours. :3
As a side-factor, I became a total bl fan!! XD

. . .

okay that was an unnecessary rant =w=;

kuroi_hitsuji: Ahaha. XD Yeah. But the only difference was that I've never met any gay people. So, the idea of reading BL never crosses my mind at all. I only manage to understand BL after some bit of study on them. But that still doesn't make me an expert in this field as I must say my experience on BL is extremely little. And as you've mentioned, it was something that's somewhat alien to me too. I'm slowly learning to understand gays better actually.

yeah, it's funny isn't it?

I mean reading BL doesn't make anyone an expert but it definitely helps it seem like a less... "alien" concept. >w< yay~! no more bias ;w;

Yups, my main criticism of a lot of BL would be the icky 'stories' and the simpering uke x studly seme as gospel. I'm not sure how to put this delicately, but there are more possibilities, you know? ^_^ Some do stick to a position.

Pinkness and shopping: Love of the 'scene' isn't universal. Smaller towns tend to have something that should have died with the Village People as the only place to go and be totally relaxed about your behaviour, and that can encourage people to stereotype themselves, which is sad. Bigger towns and cities can have more variety.

I laughed lots at your tongue in cheek French stereotypes! (that taxi looked very Peugeot-like too) You forgot the string of onions! ^_^

At the end of the day, a love story is a love story, and Pr0n is Pr0n, it's just tastes differ...
